Make the Cards Challenge  #67  Theme Challenge Thankful Today I made this card that can be given to a child who helps me out, whether it is on raking the leaves or another little job.   I used a 5.5-inch corrugated kraft card base and added another corrugated panel on top.  I used stickers to decorate it and added a bow to the Grateful banner.  Inside is the greeting,        "What would I do without you...thanks! This card is intended to be hand delivered so I decorated the envelope as well.

Make the Cards Challenge # 66   This week is a  Sketch Challenge, and I needed a Birthday card for my sister. Since it is still fall I used a napkin and decoupaged  it onto some cardstock.  I used a large die cut to a focal point. I used a script stamp to create a background on kraft cardstock. I added ribbon through the die cut and a layered sentiment than a tag to finish the card off.

Make the Cards Challenge #65 This week is a Theme Challenge and the Theme is Halloween!  Once the paper  was chosen the card came together almost by itself. The spiderweb paper was layered onto a black card base then the images add to the front along with a   little zigzag  stitching.  I added white to the inside for the greeting and room for a personal message. I hope you have a Happy Halloween!

Make the Cards Challenge #64 This week was a Technique Challenge using Washi Tape on the c ard, my favorite colour is green so of course, I would gravitate to my green washi tape.  After making the diagonal background piece, I put together the card base. I decided that it was looking masculine, so I stamped the image and layered it along with the sentiment.

Make the Cards Challenge # 63 Fall Theme I stenciled the pumpkin stack with orange and green ink, then I added Tacky When Dry over just the right side of the pumpkins.  When it was dry I added the Gold Foil .  The sentiment is simply  "Hello Autumn", from one of my favorite stamp sets.  The leaf die cut was the finishing touch to the Slim Line Card.

Make the Cards Challenge #60 Technique Challenge Use a Black Background I decided to stick with the basic Black and White so the first thing that came to mind was Detail White Embossing powder.  My next job was to find the perfect image to emboss.  After choosing my set, I could not decide which of the images I liked best, which lead me to stamp all four of the images and sentiments onto the black background cardstock.  I then added stickles to the images to bring your eye there.  After I had finished the four cards, I went ahead and made three more sets of  four to sell at the Market.

Make the Cards Challenge #59 Sketch Challenge I made this card for a coworker to whom we were sadly saying goodbye.  When making cards for work I need to make them at least 5x7 so everyone can write their good wishes.  This time I even added a tip-in for even more room.  Note the spelling error was fixed before gifting.
