  Make the cards Challenge #51 I made a simple sympathy card using a silver card base and envelope I  embossed a silver image onto black cardstock, added a layer of purple cardstock that I distressed.  The flare button has a faint black and purple image in it, I used a silver ribbon to break up the 2 layers on the card.

Make the Cards Challenge #50 Use an embossing folder! I decided on making a monochromatic colour scheme, I used a white card base and added the embossed velum.  I have a double-layer butterfly with one layer being embossed vellum.   On the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment on a white cutout, this is a simple card but I love the simplicity of it.
